Get them onside by exploring why they are there, what identity you are connecting to, what's REALLY in it for them, and how are they aspiring to use your material.
Chunk and sequence your content in a way that works with the neurology of your audience. Make it easy for them to take on your ideas.
Give participants the time to practice and experiment with your material to internalise the concepts and have a solid reference experience.
Give space for participants to share what they have learned or experienced and ask questions to help them generalise and contextualise the content.
